"Joseph Daly specializes in post-conviction and civil rights litigation. Many of his cases involve helping clients demonstrate that they have been wrongfully incarcerated, helping them to get free from prison, and then helping them to recover for their damages.

Prior to coming to the firm, Joseph was a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of Western Michigan where he spent three years assisting low-income clients with civil litigation needs. He specialized in cases involving eviction, foreclosure, divorce, custody, debt collection, and social security.

In law school, Joseph spent two years in the Cooley Innocence Project helping inmates to advance their cases of actual innocence, including helping them to obtain DNA testing of evidence.

In addition to working on actual innocence and civil rights litigation, he also represents clients on a wide variety of other matters, including criminal defense, contract disputes, and landlord/ tenant matters. "
